John Giesbrecht

John Giesbrecht, age 83 years of Altona, MB passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre.

He was predeceased by his wife Norma Derksen Giesbrecht (nee Friesen).  He is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as one sister. 

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church. Interment will take place prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at the Neubergthal Cemetery. 

Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Saturday, December 20 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Donations in memory of John may be made to the Rhineland and Area Food Bank.
