Tina Martens

Tina Martens (nee Hildebrand) age 92 years of Altona, formerly of Halbstadt, Manitoba, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

She is survived by her children Myra (Abe) Loewen, Connie (Vic) Toews, Terry Martens, Colleen (Mark) Budzinski as well as 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one sister Toots (John) Sawatzky, and by one brother Peter (Rose) Hildebrand.  She was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Martens, one grandson and one great granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church.  A private family burial will take place prior to the service.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, January 5 and Friday, January 6, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
