Susie Friesen

Sue Friesen, age 97 years, of Altona, Manitoba passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

She is survived by her children Judy (Raul) Seesahai, Gloria (Jim) Penner, Ray Friesen (Darlene Warkentin), Bruce (Marlene) Friesen, Laureen (Ron) Crampton, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one sister Dorothy Reimer, and one sister-in-law Dorothy (Fred) Janzen.

She was predeceased by her husband Diedrich D. Friesen, daughter-in-law Irma Friesen, grandson Richard Seesahai, Sisters Sara, Justine, Helen, Anna, Margaret, and Tina, and brothers Jacob, Henry, and Peter.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church with burial at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Monday, February 19 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.

Donations in memory of Sue Friesen may be made to the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church, or to a charity of ones choice.
