Susanna "Sue" Funk (nee Peters)
Susanna "Sue" Funk (nee Peters), age 92 years of Altona, formerly of Gretna, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.
She is survived by her children Ev Kehler, Pat (Bernie) Derksen, Garry (Lori) Funk, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 4 sister in-laws and their families as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Neil, son in-law Harold, daughter Judy, 3 brothers and 3 sisters and Neil's siblings and spouses.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gretna Bergthaler Mennonite Church. Burial will take place at the Altona Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Tuesday, March 5 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Donations in memory of Sue can be made to the Altona Health Care Auxiliary.
