Sharon had a big personality, and a big heart and with that came some big laughs. Overall she was a softie, despite her sometimes tough exterior. In her younger years she took Food Services and after completing that she started working at the family motel and then in the restaurant. She then moved on to work for CP Rail in Emerson and Winnipeg. Primarily she lived her entire life in Emerson. Later on she worked for Maple Leaf Construction, and JKW a job she often mentioned enjoying, and of course she spent a considerable amount of time working at the Ridgeville Club. Her work at the Club brought her friendship, comfort, and many memories.

In her later years Sharon loved puzzling, landscaping her corner apt, painting ornaments, and crafting. She deeply loved her friends and cherished the time spent together. Her home was always open, the coffee always on, and visitors were welcomed with warmth and kindness. She also loved her little dog! Over and above that, what she really loved the most was her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her family, by many life long friends and those who knew her best. A celebration of life as well as a private family Interment will be held at a later date.

In memory of Sharon, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or your local dog shelter.
