Roy Empson

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Roy Empson on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 96 years.

Roy is survived by his daughter Mary (Tony), grandchildren: Kerry, Kristine (Dan), Jaison (Lynda), Brittain (Tammy) and Gregg as well as great-grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Kyra, Hannah, Cole, Brayden, Logan, Liam, Avery, Rhys, Connor, Jagger and Antonia and sister Pearl Smith.

He was predeceased by his wife Clare, son Mike and daughter-in-law Tanys.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Victoria Hospital and staff at Riverwood Square where he resided since 2008.

Service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the United Church, 121 Park Street, Emerson, MB. Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery and reception will follow at the Emerson Complex.
