Rita Jolane Driedger

Rita Driedger, age 64 years of Altona, formerly of Silberfeld, Manitoba passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

She is survived by her husband Albert, their children Sheila (Colin) Hildebrand, Tammy (Enrique) Loewen, Tracy (Geoff) Friesen, and Kimberly Ramsey, as well as by 9 grandchildren, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.  She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Marie Schroeder.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, September 13 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 14 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rita may be made to Altona and District Palliative Care, or to CancerCare Manitoba.
