Rev. Bob Stark

Rev. Bob Stark, age 86 years, of Dominion City, MB, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at his residence.  Bob served as a pastor in the United Church in several communities across Southern Manitoba for 41 years.

After a time in the mining industry, Bob was ordained in 1982 and settled on the Oakville-Elm Creek Pastoral Charge. In 1987 he accepted a Call to Morris-Altona Pastoral Charge where he was joined in ministry by his spouse Myrna who is a Lay Pastoral Minister. Bob and Myrna retired in 2001 and then continued in ministry in Retired Supply Appointments in Prairie Vision Pastoral Charge, Atikokan Pastoral Charge, Valley Pastoral Charge, and Roland Pastoral Charge.

Bob is survived by his wife Myrna, their children Donna (Chris), Marilyn (Russ), Geoffrey (Sandy), Leslie (Dave), and Laurie (Steve), as well as 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 5 sisters and 1 brother.  He was predeceased by their daughter Kathryn.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Morris, MB (220 Lucinda St S, Morris, MB)
