With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond Lawrence Harrington on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 65, at his home in Letellier, Manitoba.
He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Cecilia; his brother, David; his brother-in-law, David; and his sister-in-law, Jacqueline.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 43 years, Christine; his cherished daughters, Jennifer and her husband Matthew, and their children Mia, Paisley, Hadley, Huxley, and Magnolia; and Pamela and her husband Kevin, and their children Taylor, Kaiebrie, and Aundreya; along with extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He is also survived by his brother, Peter; his sister, Evelyn; mother-in-law, Ethel; his sister-in-laws, Susan, Lesley, Gillian (Bryan), and Pauline (Martin); and his brother-in-law, Stephen (Jen); and many nieces and nephews.
Ray, born March 5, 1960, in Pembroke, Ontario, lived a life grounded in dedication and quiet strength. He proudly served in the military for nearly ten years, known for his reliability and commitment.
His happiest days were spent at his cabin, with his loving wife, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking for those he loved, especially his grandchildren. The outdoors was his peace, and he cherished every moment surrounded by nature.
He will be remembered for his generosity and the way he loved helping people both in life and at work. He had a deep love for his dogs over the years, and he was always eager to share his BBQ tips, his skills, and a good laugh. His unique sense of humor brought warmth and light to everyone who knew him.
Family will gather for a private and intimate celebration of Ray’s life at his favorite place at a later date.
