Peter H. Sawatzky

Peter H. Sawatzky, age 62 years of Gretna, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

He is survived by his wife Maria (nee Penner), their children Alvin (Lisa) Sawatzky, Frank (Tina) Sawatzky, Martin (Maria) Sawatzky, Irma Derksen, Martha Sawatzky, David (Linda) Sawatzky, Eva (Dave) Heinrichs, Sara (Pete) Unger, and Corny (Amanda) Sawatzky, as well as 30 grandchildren, and 13 siblings.  He was predeceased by his parents David F. and Katharina Sawatzky, and one brother.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church.  Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Wednesday, November 13 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Thursday, November 14 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.
