Lorraine Dueck

After a life filled with love, dedication and adventure, Lorraine passed away surrounded by family on March 10th, 2026 after a lengthy battle with Lymphoma.

Lorraine leaves to mourn her husband and love of her life of 55 years Abe. Her children Roger Dale (Darlene) Dueck, Conley Joe (Lori) Dueck and Delbert Ross (Brandi) Dueck. Grandchildren; Rylan, Owen, Dawson, Ella, Luxton, Cael, Kallen and Draden. Brother Gordon (Helen) Dyck, and Sister Delores (Richard) Shultz.

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Henry and Mary Dyck, in-laws George and Tina Dueck and son, Carson Mark Dueck.

Lorraine grew up in Altona, Manitoba where she met the love of her life, Abe. They were married in 1971, during that time Lorraine worked in Altona for D.W. Friesen’s.

Abe and Lorraine moved to Airdrie, Alberta for numerous years, then returned to Manitoba and lived in Winkler, where she worked for Pembina Printers then making one last move to Steinbach, MB where they settled and called it home. Abe and Lorraine owned and operated Pert Plus and Quality Cleaners in Steinbach, serving the community for many years.

Lorraine will be remembered for her warmth and caring nature, exceptional cooking, sharp attention to detail, baking, travelling, gardening and spending time with family and her grandchildren and many many adventures with Dad.

The Family would like to Thank CancerCare Steinbach, Dr. Kansara at HSC, Dr. Trinh and many staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for the care and compassion.

A private funeral service will be held with interment at the Altona Cemetery.
