Leonard Pappel

Leonard Pappel, age 92 years of Emerson, formerly of Strassberg, MB, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at the Emerson Personal Care Home.

He is survived by his wife Tina (nee Kehler), their daughter Sandra (Jim) Dickson, daughter-in-law Sandra Pappel, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 sister, and 1 brother.  He was predeceased by his son Glen, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.

A celebration of Leonard's life will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Friedensthal.  A private interment will take place prior to the service at the Lakeside Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to Parkinson Canada, or the Emerson Personal Care Home.
