Katharina "Katie" Krahn

Katharina "Katie" Krahn (nee Thiessen), age 101 years, of Altona, MB passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Eastview Place, Altona.

She is survived by her children Pauline (Lloyd) Stoesz, Karen (Ron) Friesen, Frances (John) Sawatzky, and Mark (Terra) Krahn, as well as 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Benno Krahn, 3 sisters and 7 brothers.

A celebration of Katie's life will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Senior Centre.  Interment will take place prior to the service at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Wednesday, June 3 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m.
