John F. Ginter

John F. Ginter, age 97 years of Altona, formerly of Blumenthal, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Salem Home in Winkler, Manitoba.

He is survived by his wife Olga (nee Dyck), their children Ollie (Norman) Wiebe, Ray (Eva) Ginter, Barb (Gordon) Dyck, Marlene (Alvin) Ginter, and Wayne (Jolene) Ginter, as well as by 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and by one sister.  He was predeceased by one granddaughter, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at the Blumenthal Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.
