Joel Adam Barnabe

With great sadness we say goodbye to Joel Barnabe who peacefully left us on April 19 at the age of 35. He will be greatly missed by parents Gail McGimpsey and Richard Barnabe (Eveline), brothers Jason (Nadine) and Jared (Jen), grandparents Muriel and Cliff McGimpsey, nephews Bailey and Jamie, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank St Boniface Hospital unit 5E for the attentive and compassionate care given to Joel in the past 3 weeks, Blue Sky Opportunities Altona for the love and excellent care given to Joel over the past 18 years and to all the people who supported Joel and his family over the past 30 years.

A celebration of Joel’s life will be held Saturday April 23 at the Letellier Community Hall - 14 3rd Avenue E at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Sky Opportunities Altona.
