Obituary - Hugo J Voth

With his wife at his side, Hugo J Voth passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at the Altona Community Memorial Health Center.

Hugo passed away at the age of 91 years, one month and three days.

He was predeceased by his parents Cornelius and Susanna (Wiebe) Voth, 2 brothers, (Ed and Willie) 5 sisters (Dora Giesbrecht, Mary Klassen, Justina Siemens, Anne Driedger and Hilda Friesen), one son, Leslie Dale in infancy, one son in law and 2 grandsons in infancy.

He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Helen (Peters) of Altona, and by his children Bradley (Shelly) of Altona, Ramona Paull of Winnipeg, Terence (Raylene) Voth of Estevan, Howard (Lisa) Voth of Winnipeg. He is also remembered by one grandson and his wife, 4 granddaughters, and 5 great- grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Sara (John) Hildebrand of Altona and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Hugo J Voth will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11 am at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Altona, Manitoba.

Viewing is at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Altona Cemetery.
