Henry Heppner

Henry H. Heppner, age 92 years of Altona formerly of Kleinstadt, MB passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

He is survived by his wife Mary (nee Doerksen), their children Susan (Peter) Elias, Henry (Carolyn) Heppner, Jake (Esther) Heppner, Bertha (Hank) Klassen, Mary (Leonard) Wiebe, and Frieda (Henry) Penner, as well as 22 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and 1 sister.  He was predeceased by 1 grandson, 1 great grandson, and 8 siblings.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at the Hochstadt Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, May 18 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m., Friday, May 19 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.

Donations in memory of Henry may be made to a charity of one's choice.
