Helen Schapansky Wiebe

Helen Schapansky Wiebe, age 87 years of Winkler, formerly of Chortiz, Manitoba passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre.

She is survived by her children, John (Margaret) Schapansky, Helen (Gordon) Groening, Dianne (John) Froese, Erma (Fred) Thiessen, and Laura (Ray) Klassen, as well as by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.  She was predeceased by her first husband John Schapansky (1974), by her second husband David Wiebe, one grandson in infancy, and one sister.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler E. M. M. Church, with burial at the Chortitz Old Colony Church Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler on Wednesday, October 10 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday,  October 11 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
