Helen Bergen

Helen Bergen age 87 years of Altona, formerly of Blumenthal, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg.

She is survived by her husband Jake H. Bergen, their children Verna (Howard) Larkin, Wes (Sandy) Bergen, Leona (Glen) Knutt, Ken (Leigh) Bergen, and Wayne (Tracy) Bergen, as well as by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. She was predeceased by her son Ed Bergen, and by 3 brothers.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, with burial at the Blumenthal Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
