Gertrude Hildebrand

Gertrude "Gert" Hildebrand (nee Giesbrecht), age 89 years, of Altona, MB passed away on Friday, August 21 at Eastview Place, Altona.

She is survived by her children Carla (Barry) Friesen, Bobbi (Tom) Pentek, and Gaylan (Elaine) Hildebrand, as well as 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Hildebrand, granddaughter Amy Beth Hildebrand, and 1 sister.

Family and friends will celebrate Gert's life privately. Public viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, August 27 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Altona Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Gert may be made to Altona and District Palliative Care.
