Ewald "Ed" Laser

On March 27, 2016, Easter morning, Ewald (Ed) Laser, 85 passed from this earthly home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ in heavenly Glory.

He is survived by his dear wife of 63 years Ruth, daughter Ingrid (Karl) Korporal, son-in-law John Macloskie, grandchildren Brynn, Kristine, Kelsey, Kendra, Matthew, Daniel, Bridget, 7 great grandchildren, brothers Artur (Lena) and Alfred (Vera).

He was predeceased by his daughter Karen, parents Daniel and Ida, brother Erhard, and sisters Alice (Werner) Duesterdiek and Lea (Otto) Boettcher.

A viewing will be held in Altona on Friday, April 1 from 5-7 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home. On Saturday, April 2 at the Rowandale Baptist Church, Winnipeg there will be a viewing at 10 AM, funeral service at 11 AM, lunch at 12 and internment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue.

Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, donations may be made to Lake Nutimik Baptist Camp or Our Daily Bread Ministries.
