Eva Nickel

It is with cherished memories that the family of Eva Nickel announce her passing on January 27, 2017.  Her faith in God was her foundation and strength throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her husband Pete, daughter Evelyn, and great granddaughter Kelsey. 

She is survived by her children Myrna (Gerry Shinn), Bernice (Dennis Casper), Garry (Deb), Phyllis (Fred Van Vogt), Bruce (Ruth), son-in-law Bill Ross, special friends Bill and Yvonne Spanjer, as well as 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Emerson Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Donations in memory of Eva Nickel may be made to the Gideon’s Bible Society.
