Ella Walter

Ella Walter, age 97 years of Emerson, formerly of Dominion City, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Morris General Hospital.

She is survived by her granddaughter Caroline Thiessen, one sister, one brother, many nieces and nephews, and close friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Art Walter, her daughter Janet and son-in-law Bob Thiessen, and sons Dennis and Melvin.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Emerson, Manitoba. Viewing will take place at the church prior to the service. Interment will take place at the Friedensthal Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Ella may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church or to the Emerson Personal Care Home Back Yard Project.
