Elizabeth "Betty" Friesen

Elizabeth "Betty" Friesen (nee Klassen) age 98 years of Altona, formerly of Lowe Farm, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Salem Home, Winkler.

She is survived by her daughters Dora (Bill) Driedger, Sarah (Abe) Driedger, and Betty (Dennis) Wiebe, as well as by 8 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren, and one sister.  She was predeceased by her husband Jacob M. Friesen, 2 granddaughters in infancy, 1 great great granddaughter, 1 great great grandson, and 12 siblings.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church, with burial prior to the service.  Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Monday, January 13 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to Union Gospel Mission.
