Dorothy Penner

Dorothy Penner, age 96, of Altona, passed away Saturday July 11, 2026, at Eastview Place in Altona MB. 

She is survived by her children Harvey (Bonnie) Penner, Waldo (Laurel) Penner, Phyllis (Carl) Giesbrecht, son in-law Merl (Twyla) Giesbrecht, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Herman in 2008, daughter Esther in 2020, 1 grand daughter, 1 brother, and 6 sisters.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Bergfeld EMMC, with burial at the Bergfeld Cemetery. Viewing will be on Monday July 13, from 1:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona and at the church prior to the service.
