David Unger

David Unger, age 82 years, of Altona formerly of Silberfeld, Manitoba passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

He is survived by his wife Dora Unger (nee Martens), their children Barb (David) Nickel, and Jim Unger, as well as 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by 7 sisters and 1 brother.  He was predeceased by his parents Isaac H. and Aganetha Unger, one sister, and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Reinland Mennonite Church with interment to follow at the Schoenthal Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday, April 11, 2016 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.
