Bernhard Sawatzky

Bernhard Sawatzky, age 69, of Lowe Farm MB passed away on June 16, 2026 at Boundary Trails Health Centre.

He is survived by his wife Susana, sons Jacob (Sarah) Sawatzky, Toni (Helena) Sawatzky, Bertha (John) Unger, 11 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. He was predeceased by his parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Funeral service will be held on Sunday June 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be on Saturday June 20, from 1:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home in Altona.
