Anne Giesbrecht

Anne Giesbrecht (nee Funk), age 102 years, of Altona, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Eastview Place.

She is survived by her children Esther Susan Popkes, Rendal (Merrilee) Giesbrecht, Elmer (Marielle) Giesbrecht, Hanna Giesbrecht, Leonard (Carol) Giesbrecht, Mel (Chris) Giesbrecht, Stella Giesbrecht (John Turner), and Lenora Tuscher (Jim),  as well as 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband John C. Giesbrecht, sons-in-law Ken Popkes and Bernie Hardman, and grandson Konrad Toews. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona EMM Church, with burial at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, January 2 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Friday, January 3 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.
