Anne Friesen

Anne Friesen, age 97 years of Altona, formerly of Halbstadt, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her residence at the Gardens on Tenth.

She is survived by her children Susie (Elmer) Friesen, Elmer (Mary) Friesen, Ruth Heppner, Carol (Ken) Neufeld, and Ray (Bev) Friesen as well as by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 1 sister and 2 brothers.  She was predeceased by her husband William P. Friesen.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church, with burial at the Blumenthal Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
