Anna Bergen

Anna Bergen (nee Driedger), age 99 years, of Altona, formerly of New Hope, MB passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Eastview Place, Altona.

She is survived by her children Ed (Shirley) Bergen, Stan (Carolyn) Bergen, Shirley (John) Rempel, and Vickie Friesen, as well as 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters-in-law.  She was predeceased by her husband Abram Bergen, 3 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, with burial at the Rudnerweide Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Saturday, July 11 from 1:00 - 6:30 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
